| Note | There are numerous ways to call what the breasts of females. "doudounes" is a nice, relatively recent one (the 70s, the phonetically repetitive form probably influenced by the rise of creole words in European French). Other include: "les roberts", "les nénés", "les nichons". Swiss writer Alexandre Voisard, obsessed with breasts, even wrote a hilarious short story about "le club des Robert", where the double-entendre obviously comes from the fact that Robert is a common first name, but also known to all as a tit. |
